Joe Sierra : Update 2

Joe underwent surgery yesterday (01-27-10) and is reportedly doing well. He is expected to be released from the hospital today.

Joe Sierra : Update

Joe is going to Elk Grove to Alexian Brothers Hospital for his annual
exam. He will be having tests on Monday 25th and on Wed. 27th he will
have a heart biopsy, we are hoping the blockages haven't gotten any
worse so he will not need surgery, he will be staying overnight.
These tests are very stressful so pray that he can remain calm. Please pray for
him that everything is alright!!!

Thanks, Angi for getting this notice out to everyone.  My sisters and
I wanted to provide this short follow-up note.  We would like to
request that there be no alcohol at this event.  We were at Aunt
Teresa's yesterday and one of the girls said she would bring the
blender and supplies to make virgin margaritas and daquiris.

So, come to share good conversation and lots of laughs, BUT please
leave the alcohol at home!

Cancer has return to challenge her in another fight.
Her doctor is still having test done on her this week to Pin point her cancer.

This information will help plan out her treatment.

A wish that Barbara has is to have a girl’s night out
With her close cousins and friends before treatments

At this gathering she would like warm fuzzy woozy stories about her from each guest.

• There will be a family baseball game with the Bandits
• Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe @ 5:30 Saturday, August 7, 2010
• Continue use of the south pavilion at Empire Park
• Four family sponsored masses throughout the year
• There is no resolution to the family reunion website. Communications will be via e-mail. Announcements can be sent to etsierrawebsite@gmail.com and will be posted immediately
  
• Couples celebrating their 40th Anniversary are encourage to host an event the Saturday prior to the reunion
• Suggestion for t-shirts
• Red Dog as the next possible course for the golf tourney
• Suggestion for a sub-committee for event planning designated by family
• Family quilt celebrating the 40th anniversary of the reunion
• Family cookbook
• Suggestion for a trivia night to raise funds
