Grandma Juana Passes Away at 84

My dad called me today to tell me that Juana had passed this morning at 3:00 AM. She has been battling cancer for the last few months. Not long ago she had undergone chemotherapy and was doing well. However, time catches up with all of us and unfortunately, she circum to this horrible disease. Juana represents so much to everyone and the last of a generation. She touched us all in many ways. It saddens me to write this. My prayers go out to my aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with rosary and novenas at 6:30 PM at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Mass will be held at St. Mary’s in East Moline on Friday, September 26, at 10:00 AM. Her obituary is on-line at qconline.com
