Family Meeting Notes October 19, 2009

As most of you know Rich quit being webmaster for Sierra web site. Big question is, they want to bring Rick back as web master with pay, or have some one locally (someone here around the QC), and who would volunteer their time and talent to be web master. Oh I forgot we, as whole family mean the 8 families would pay for the web site and the web master time. So as a family what do want to do?

Also did u like the four days of the reunion? Would you like going to the baseball game?

We would like to ask if you would go to family mass on Saturday @ St. Ann’s @ 4 pm or @ OLG @ 5:30pm. Also we have OLG parish center line up for talent show. There was also a suggested we would do an oral history of founder thru different times of their life using our children in the time line, instead of talent show? In my humble opinion we should stay with talent show.

As most of u know next year reunion is the 40^th anniversary. Back in 1969 our aunt and uncles made the break from the Terronez's and started the Simon & Marie Sierra reunion in 1970, so in the spirit we are starting a logo contest for the tee shirt (must have a family tree on it front or back) if u like to entry send your ideas to the family head or Angie Molina.

It was suggest that out of 8 families, one family should take on one of the many function we all seem to place on one or two people in the family biggest function (like the baseball tickets, set up the different function have to do with reunion). We will make up a list of things that need to be done and list on our family web site so we can pick out what we as a family want to do.

We as the ET family should have one family basket (for raffle table) and if other members want to make there our great for them but if u have anything for ET family please drop them off at aunt NaDeen’s house.

If u have any question please e-mail, call me do what ever so I can tell the committee what we as the ET family want to do.

* Take I-80 East to I-88, just East of Quad Cities in Illinois
* Take I-88 to Rock Falls (Exit 41)
* Turn left (North) on State Highway 88 into Sterling
* Turn right on Highway 2 (about blocks after crossing the Rock River)
